Creating Prototypes and Molds for Wax Patterns

Mold Preparation

From the "mother," special molds are made to prepare wax models, enabling mass production.

Rubber Molds

In jewelry production, rubber molds are used to precisely copy jewelry elements. These can range from simple rings to complex patterns with many interconnected elements.

Wax Injection

After the rubber hardens in the design department, it goes to the wax department. Molten wax is injected into the molds under pressure using a wax injector, allowing the processing of most available materials.

Model Unveiling

Once the wax cools, the rubber mold is opened, revealing the wax jewelry model. The flexible rubber allows the delicate wax to be easily removed.

Tree Assembly

Wax models are arranged on a wax sprue, forming a "tree." The tree is then transferred to the casting department, where it is encased in plaster and burned out using the lost wax method.
