Many years of cooperation with clients having their own jewelry brands, constantly mobilizes us to develop and adapt new solutions, not only in producing wholesale silver jewelry, but also in other jewelry services. One of them is jewelry packaging, which plays a huge role both in the transport and further storage of jewelry findings.
Taking into account the fact, that most of our products are mounted by hand, and additionally polished by hand in case of production of gold 585 components and ultra skin pack packaging – we guarantee the highest precision and elimination the risk of damage and scratching of final products. Being aware of such a control at every stage of production, it is worth making sure not to damage them during packing, transport and storage after receiving the order.

Skin pack – what is it?
It is a method of packing products by placing them on a pad, and then covering with a tight and durable foil called skin foil, which is sucked in with a vacuum pump, thanks to which it fits tightly and clings to products, firmly attaching them to pad. After this process, it is ready for shipment or for cutting into smaller pieces – depending on the customer’s needs. Skin pack packaging is so delicate that there is no risk of damaging even very small parts.
Skin pack – application
The skin pack packaging is perfect for the protection of jewelry components against: scratching, chipping, breaking or other damages. This technique allows you to pack both individual products, and whole sets consisting of the same or mixed elements. The exceptions are large items with sharp corners and edges that could cut the foil. In the case of silver and gold jewelry elements, the foil provides additional protection against high temperature and contact with external factors, protecting the metal against dirt, getting wet, humidity and discoloration. We use skin pack packaging usually for laser-cut tags as they are very fragile, and their flat surface is susceptible to scratches and dents. The laser-cut silver components available in our offer are 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1 and 1,2 mm thick, while the gold findings are 0.3 and 0,5 mm. Thanks to advanced technology we create our own jewelry designs, but we also implement individual ideas of our clients, developed on the basis of vector files, sketches, photos or just descriptions of the idea. 1. The skin pack technique is one of the most economical forms of packing jewelry findings. 2. The applied vacuum technology ensures that the products are firmly attached to pad, thanks to which they do not move and are effectively secured during transportation. 3. Precise foil covering products prevents from scratching and mechanical damage. 4. Packing jewelry components with the skin pack method, protects them from contact with dust and other contaminants, that may cause discoloration. 5. Another advantage is the optimal use of the pad area – using different configurations are space-saving during transport and storing. 6. Transparency of the foil affects the clear presentation and gives the possibility of an accurate view each product individually. 7. Heat-shrinkable foils are characterized by the possibility of perfect fit to the shape of the product, thus ensuring a high aesthetic level of product display. 8. Thermal packaging is also characterized by high durability. It is also worth adding that skin pack packaging protects products not only during transport, but also during jewellery storage, so customers can enjoy longer perfect appearance and conditions of their products.

Skin pack packaging is in great demand thanks to its many advantages, however there is always a slight risk that products with a flat surface, such as engraved dog tags, plaques for engraving, end tags or other silver findings will be accidentally scratched during the manufacturing process. To obtain a perfectly smooth surface, we have introduced an even more advanced packaging method – called ultra skin pack. The difference between these methods starts at the beginning of process, when the product is separated and has no contact with other products from the very first stage of its production until it reaches the client, thanks to which even the slightest risk of scratches is eliminated. Additionally, in the ultra skin pack option, longer mechanical polishing of jewelry is used followed by additional hand polishing. For comparison, in the skin pack option products go to packaging straight from production or from the warehouse, where have contact with other elements, so there is a risk of minor scratches.
